Limited Lifetime Warranty & Product Policy

At B&R Customs, we build lighting, audio accessories, and custom vehicle products designed for durability and long-term performance in off-road and automotive environments. We stand behind our workmanship and materials with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser.

If a B&R Customs product fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper installation, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. If the exact product is no longer available, a comparable replacement of equal or similar value may be provided.

Troubleshooting may be required to confirm the issue, and in certain cases the product may need to be returned for inspection before a replacement is issued.

All qualifying products also include lifetime technical support for the original purchaser.

Warranty Eligibility

Warranty coverage applies only under the following conditions:

  • The claimant is the original purchaser of the product.

  • The product was purchased directly from B&R Customs or an authorized seller.

  • The product was installed and used according to recommended guidelines.

  • Replacement products may only be shipped to the original shipping address used at the time of purchase, unless otherwise approved.

This warranty is non-transferable.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover failures or damage caused by:

  • Improper installation or incorrect wiring

  • Product modification or unauthorized repair

  • Electrical system issues including power surges, improper voltage, or poor grounding

  • Abuse, misuse, negligence, or use outside the intended application

  • Accidental damage, impact damage, or environmental exposure

  • Natural disasters including floods, fires, storms, or similar events

  • Normal wear and cosmetic damage such as scratches, fading, or discoloration that do not affect functionality

Additional exclusions include:

  • Use of 3M VHB tape on Portal Lights

  • Wire splicing performed without proper extensions, connectors, or splitters

  • Controllers installed in areas that are not dry and properly ventilated

The following items are not covered under warranty:

  • Remotes

  • Mounting hardware

  • Flags

  • Springs

  • Wiring

  • Accessories

Replacement parts for these components may be purchased separately through B&R Customs.

Labor costs, installation costs, and third-party components required for removal or reinstallation are not covered under warranty.

Installation & Electrical System Disclaimer

Products sold by B&R Customs are intended for custom vehicles, off-road vehicles, powersports equipment, and automotive enthusiast applications. Because vehicle electrical systems vary, compatibility cannot be guaranteed with every vehicle, alternator, battery system, or aftermarket accessory.

Proper installation by a qualified installer or experienced individual is strongly recommended.

Improper installation, incorrect voltage supply, insufficient grounding, inadequate ventilation, or improper wiring may result in:

  • Electrical system damage

  • Battery or alternator failure

  • Overheating or fire risk

  • Damage to vehicle electronics

  • Personal injury

B&R Customs assumes no responsibility for damage to vehicles, electrical systems, wiring, batteries, alternators, or other components resulting from installation or use of its products.

Electrical Load Responsibility

The customer is responsible for ensuring their vehicle electrical system, charging system, wiring, relays, and fusing are capable of safely supporting additional accessories.

Installation of high-output lighting or electronics without proper fusing, relays, or upgraded wiring may overload the vehicle’s electrical system.

By purchasing from B&R Customs, the customer accepts full responsibility for verifying electrical compatibility and safe installation.

Off-Road & Compliance Notice

Many products sold by B&R Customs are intended for off-road or custom vehicle use and may not comply with all local, state, or federal vehicle regulations.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine whether a product is legal for street use in their jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • B&R Customs shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to vehicle damage, electrical system failure, fire, personal injury, property damage, loss of vehicle use, or lost income.

  • Liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the product under the terms of this warranty.

  • B&R Customs is not responsible for installation labor, vehicle repairs, towing, downtime, or any costs associated with product removal or reinstallation.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Contact B&R Customs customer support.

  2. Provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

  3. Follow any troubleshooting steps requested.

  4. If required, return the product for inspection.

Warranty replacements will be issued once the claim has been verified.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, installing, or using products from B&R Customs, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these warranty terms, installation requirements, and liability limitations.
